May 14th is Children and Youth in Care Day
May 14th is Children and Youth in Care Day across Ontario. It’s a day to celebrate the strength of young people who have experienced things no child ever should. It’s also a way for caring members of the community to show our country’s most at-risk young people they are not alone and help them achieve their full potential.
Without support, the odds kids in care face are tough to overcome. Less than half of them will graduate from high school. And about 70 per cent of homeless youth have been involved with the child welfare system.
But with your help, young people in care are capable of amazing things. Help young people beat the odds by donating today!
