Would you believe it’s time for Ferreira Fest 8? Where did the summer go?!
Hopefully we have a few interesting goodies for you all this time, even though the net’s been rather quiet lately. We expect Louis news to pick up the closer we get to the start of SGU’s Season 2. – This way to the party celebrating the work of Canadian actor Louis Ferreira! Grab a drink and pick up a drool bucket on the way – you’ll need it.
Sadly, almost everything from this newsletter is no longer available – just to give you an idea of what was lost: two video clips of the hard to find unsold pilot for The Notorious Seven. Louis played Eddie Alighieri.
Also lost – a Twitter exchange with Lou Diamond Phillips and a friend where they discuss in incident from SGU involving Louis, a tall fence and some dog poop (Louis threw a pile of poop over a fence, not realizing there was a sidewalk on the other side, and the poop landed in a baby stroller. No infants were harmed.).
A website containing a very nice recent interview with Alaina Huffman who plays Tamara Johansen on SGU. Louis gets mentioned. 😉 She discusses relationships and babies at a Comic Con event.
An info-type website still has some stuff about Louis but it’s woefully uninformed and has nothing interesting anymore. After 12 years they are still confused about his name and birthplace…
There is a nice portrait of Louis from Missing and the link still works but it has a watermark on it.

Finally, another special treat and blast from the past: Louis in “Stella”, where he played Ricky, a cocaine dealer. It’s a blink-and-you-miss-it part, but the VLC Player screencap program managed to squeeze a lot of caps out of it. 😉 Young Louis is always eye candy! As always, keep checking the TV listings for when Louis is on TV. Currently on the docket in the US are “True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet”, “Cocktail”, “Criminal Minds” and “Grey Gardens”.
