All newsletters up to Ferreira Fest 44 (including this one) used an off-site image storage system that is now unfortunately defunct.
This means that most photos in these newsletters have been lost.
Whenever possible, photos have been added afterwards.
Links in this post may no longer work – availability on the web changes quickly.
How time flies – it’s already time for Ferreira Fest 6, the once-a-month celebration of Louis Ferreira’s work! Grab a drool bucket and come along for a collection of pictures, videos, interviews and more.
First off – PERFECT TIMING!! Joe Mallozzi announced in his blog that he’s roped Louis in for an exclusive Q&A. Run, do not walk, and post your questions at his weblog. The call for questions is in the June 18th entry. Feel free to go beyond SGU with your questions – he’s certainly done enough.
Here is a contribution from ImmerRDA who provided a link to Brian J. Smith’s Twitter Photos, which contains a great behind the scenes shot of Louis during a pre-series gun training.
Thanks for the link!
And from Super Sleuth Agi here is a link to a Facebook Page with images from the Canadian TV series Letters to God. Here are some samples.
Unfortunately lost: the hilarious video clip (was at stargate.mgm.com) with Louis and Jamil modeling the SGU space suits, another opportunity for our man to clown around!
And another video – this was the opening theme for the TV series “Urban Angel” from 1991 so it’s practically a baby video of a very young Louis Ferreira.
Also missing: a nice interview with Elyse Levesque (Chloe Armstrong on SGU) on ColonelEz.com where she says some very nice things about Louis.
Finally, filming has wrapped on Bradley Striker’s short film “Family Time” featuring Louis Ferreira. You can keep up with news about this project here.
Remember to check on upcoming TV appearances HERE. At posting time we could look forward to CSI, True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet, and Renegades – featuring none other than Lou Diamond Philips (Col. David Telford on SGU) and again a very very young Louis. Don’t miss it!
And don’t forget to post your questions to Louis at http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/!
And that, dear Friends, is about it for this month! Thanks for visiting often! Be sure to follow us on “X” / Twitter for all the Louis news you can handle and TV reminders!
If you have comments, questions or suggestions, there are many ways to make your voice heard:
Visit the Forum and start a discussion or participate in an existing one. Signing up is easy and hassle-free but not required for visits, and nobody there will send you spam or unwanted emails.
Leave a note in the Guestbook. Guestbook notes will get a response via email if available.
Contact or any other staff member. Everyone is listed on the Contact Page. If you have any questions that you need answered, email is the way to go!
We are always looking for volunteers who want to contribute, and there are perks associated with being a correspondent or staff member!
Please remember: all content of Ferreira Fest and indeed this entire website is copyright protected. That’s what the note on the bottom of each page says. It means that you should never re-post anything you find here elsewhere. If you absolutely must do so please contact first so we can work things out. We all work for free here, and we all work very hard, and it’s just not fair if you steal stuff and claim it as your own. Your mom/ dad/ parental unit/ teacher already told you as much. Please play by the rules.
We hope to see you all next month!
